Yes, it's all over the news here as well. I won't speculate as to what's wrong with her mind these days, but I feel really bad for her family. Her kids have to see her this way and deal with all the flack. I'm just glad I haven't seen any reports on if they have tried to interview her immediate family.

what I don't get is why they're making such a big deal out of the whole "she was an astronaut!" thing. as if astronauts are any less crazy than the rest of us peons. everyone's nuts! astronauts included!

I missed this yesterday! I am floored by this woman. Clearly she snapped.
Oh, and being the mother of a toddler may I say that the diaper "pulls" the wetness into itself and away from the body so their not icky as in olden days.
As bad as the woman who didn't want to get married so she said she got abducted by mexicans and driven to albuquerque.
