Well, avoid that solid black motif. It's a bit hard to read. Actually, I myself don't mind the pink so much....but, ultimately, it's YOUR site, and yes, it should look however YOU decide.

Of course, if you dump the pink you might lose that lucrative Daisy endorsement, but hey, maybe they've got other cool hues..

As far as your blog design goes, hmmm....maybe something darker (but not black LOL) and "rockier", you being a musician and all. Seems like you should have some kind of music theme going, but an understated one.

Definitely some more graphics, some kind of logo/header at the top instead of plain text.

You can tell me to piss off at any time...

I'm thinking about re-designing my own site... but dng it every time I try I find that I'm really attached to my current design... even if it does look amatuer!

I like a girl that shows pink. Georgia O'Keefe got away with it, hell, with 30-ft vaginas! But there's nothing wrong with a good black painting, as long as you don't walk into it thinking it's the bathroom. As to your quick knockoff, not bad! Is that you naked in there?

I think your side panels should be confettied with clickable iconography similar to your current CD. makes good marketing sense, no?

So true, sometimes what people try to pass off as art is garbage.

My town paid a huge amount of cash for a sculpture for our dwontown area called "FALLING UP" It's four metal rectangles placed like dominoes and instead of looking like they are falling over they are "FALLING UP". CRAPTASTIC.

I don't have any advice for your new design except for maybe a girl and an earth.

After some thought i decided to poke you a lil bit with some template ideas. I build blogger templates in my spare time and have a lil' business myself at Blogs Gone Wild!
and all the templates you see there are all done with blogger and hosted by blogger, as you can see they are VERY flexible and yet work seamlessly with blogger post editing and all the other blogger tools. I even have several others completed i just haven't put up on display yet.

All i'm trying to say is take a peak and maybe it will give you a few ideas about how you can have Selena build you the template that you want!

I would definitely recommend sticking with Haloscan comments or even the basic Blogger comments, just about anything else (with a few exceptions) is vulnerable to spam attacks and can be a MAJOR pain to deal with!
