Carol, I'm delighted that you are bilingual, covering OpenOffice as well as M$Office. I've been a Power User of word processing for nearly 25 years, and on January 1 of this year, I converted fully to OpenOffice. I have not looked back.
In my book, THE HEART AND CRAFT OF LIFESTORY WRITING, I have a section with detailed page and document formatting instructions, and I give precise directions for the three major programs: Word, OpenOffice and WordPerfect. I delighted that someone else is doing this. Yay!
yes, also very happy to see Open Office tips. I don't even have MSOffice anymore and I think there's a lot more of us non ms office users these days.

I am glad to see you are including information on OpenOffice. Now that I am retired (from a large corporation) I find this "free" office suite more than enough for my needs.
