Gravatar Anyone surprised by this needs to revisit the last 30 years history of Bill Gates and Microsoft. Also read some of what Gates has written about his house and visions/plans for all of us in future.

Or what they did, and how they did it this week to our hotmail and PAID premium MSN accounts.

I am maintaining a Vista computer to watch what the enemy is doing. My other computers are Mac or different flavors of Linux.

While I am less than pleased with Linux I think everyone should start learning it over next few years.

Gravatar I've just loaded Ubuntu (Linux OS)and boot up with that. Does everything I want, so far, and there's lots of stuff available for when I need it. All Free, and all well away from the Microsoft Thought Police.

Gravatar So far I have not had any problems with un asked for updates. However, it does concern me that this can be done without my consent. How should we tackle this issue ??

Gravatar Answer: WinDiz Updates.

Gravatar I`ve seen great concern about this from all quarters, and I certainly don`t agree with it, but numerous other folk have commentated that it`s all part of the EULA (who reads `em?) that MS can more-or-less do what they like! What`s the position on pre-installed Windows, which the majority of machines come with? I can`t remember seeing similar on my PC. Perhaps the mere fact that I`m using it deems me to have accepted the EULA.

Gravatar I bought and paid for a legitimate copy of Windows OS. It is no concern of Microsoft if I choose to update it or not.

Gravatar As usual Microsoft is playing dirty pool.
Microsoft should be forbidden to sell any new products until every thing they have ever sold works as described and without CRASHING!
