Buddy and Barney - good names. I know that morning drill, also. I married a cat magnet and last count there were 9 of the furballs taking up space around here. We get them fixed right away when they show up at the back door. So it's not like we're generating them. They just wander in from nowhere and decide to adopt us.
It's amazing that all cats seem to know where the back door is!
