I use Open Office practically on a daily basis.
I find your articles very interesting.
I tried to use the help section of O.O. but found it
very difficult to understand.
I had no previous knowledge of word processing software when i began to use O.O.
For the first few months it was a hit and miss endeavor to use the software (missing more often than hitting). I find your articles easy to understand and i am looking
forward to reading many more of them. Keep up
the great job.
Regards,
Patrick

I'd like to know anything and everything about Oo. I use it, and I love it. I'm so glad you're giving us info about it.

Carol, ditto to Terry's comment. I used to be a MS Office Specialist before I discovered Open Source software. I don't see the point in paying hundreds of dollars for something when there's an adequate alternative.
Cheers!

Hi Carol,
Like the others I have converted from MS Office to Open Office and agree that it is a terrific alternative. Your tips are great in getting the best out of the programme. Tips on Calculator would also be appreciated.
Cheers
Mike.

Thanks a bunch for the OpenOffice tips. I've been using word processing programs for 25 years, progressing from Applewriter to StarOffice, WordPerfect, and finally Micro$oft Word, and become a true Power User in the process.
I went cold turkey and switched to OO over a year ago. I still have MS Office installed, but haven't used it for months. I urge everyone I know to make the switch. I find it the most user-friendly program I've ever worked with.
