I use bot FF and TB. I use the IE. Tab with FF when certain sites require a Direct x browser.
I like Cyberspy better than Spy doctor and Avg for AV protection. I love Registry Booster 2 for registry scanning and fixing, etc. I have used Drive Image (bought by Symantec)and incoporated in to Ghost 9 and above. I would like to try Acronis True Image 11. Google mail is great also.
Thanks for your great newsletter.

Many thanks for the great newsletter. I find it most useful.
I have one comment and one question though:
1. Gmail no longer requires an invitation from a current member to join. It is open to all.
2. I use both Internet Explorer and Firefox and I have 2 queries about Firefox:
a) I have not been able to find out how to configure Firefox to access the internet. My Firefox uses the configuration I have set up for IE but I can't find a way I can configure it separately.
b) As soon as I open Firefox so that I can look at stored webpages offline, it tries to connect to the internet (I have dialup) and I also can't find how to prevent this until I want to go online.
I would be most grateful if you could help me with these queries.
If it is relevant I have IE ver 7 and Firefox ver 2.0.0.9 running on WinXP SP2.
Regards
Charlie

Charlie,
1 - Click Tools>Options>Advanced. You'll see four tabs, click Network.
2 - Click File>Work Offline.
That should take care of it.
