This is a subject that should be brought up once in a while. As memory needs change and types fly by it is important to have this kind of attention paid for both newbies and more experienced users.

Your "Memory" article was clearly writen and understood.
Is it ok to use DDR3, reguardless of the type of CPU installed? Or are you limited to CPU speed?
Thank you, Rudy.

Rudy,
You have to use the same type (DDR,DDR2, DDR3) as is currently in the motherboard. If you buy the wrong type it won't fit into the sockets on the motherboard.
