I agree with 100 percent. However, the problem comes from other black people that say this form of thinking is Tomish, because racism is not our fault so why must the blame lie at our feet. The perception of Black America has been exploited by the media and other industries but what remains most critical is that we are now no longer helpless but continue to allow ourselves to be exploited.
China believes what the majority of Americans believe that Black people are violent uneducated, slothful and overall degenerates. We are to blame for that misperception. STOP allowing ourselves to be used to further the pockets of others. This is something that is frustrating to no end.
Dburt on a side note the black athletes for America should stand up and pull out unless this issue is address and America calls China on this racist bull. Without our black members on the US team we will get slammed in the Olympics. Athletes during the Olympic season carry so much power especially when representing their countries yet none are standing up and speaking our about this issue.
The Olympic not be a place where racism is allowed, but when most powerful country in the world was built on it what else do you expect. Your attidude is a reaction to what life hands you, and only you can choose that reaction.
Jazzy, you are correct, I hope the athletic community stand up regarding this issue but the silence thus far is deafening. No one seems to care and perhaps if the blogosphere really pushes this issue than maybe the MSM will follow suit. And that begs to question-why hasn't the news picked up on this?

Maybe we black people should boycott Chinese food here in the states. That'll hit them right where they live, because then their family in the USA won't have money to send back to them in PRC. F**k some lo mein!
