I recently found a fantastic recipe for meatballs, but these look interesting - we'll give them a try!
I've made pork and apple meatballs but never tried them with beef, they look so good, as does the sauce.
With minced pork I've only made Thai inspired meat balls that I threw together with what I thought were thai spices... they were good they probably could have been better had I looked at a thai cookbook. pork and apple sounds delicious. Thank you for the link and lovely comments. You've got a cracking blog as I said. Love your meal planning too... I do most stuff on the spur of the moment. Sometimes don't even know what I 'm going to cook until I'm doing it.
Hey, I gotta start eating over there! Those meatballs are making me hungry and it's only 8 am.
Yummy Yummy Yummy, my kids are not very good meat eaters, which worries me, although they do like fish!
Anyway, I've tried other meatball recipes which did not go down well with them, I'm liking the grated apple bit. I'll try this one with them...Wish me luck!

Beccy - Yup - I've done these with pork too which is good with a honey mustard sauce or a sweet and sour sauce... mmm... getting hungry here!
Amanda - I am usually more spur of the moment, but my budget is suffering so am trying to plan the menu to cut down on costs. If you have to go to the store every day you end up buying a lot of stuff you don't need! LOL!

Roz - My kids are weird with meat too. Especially chicken. There is another recipe on the site for chicken balls which are a big hit as well.
