I will have to try your dough, I've been looking for a good recipe for a while. I usually buy the premade dough at the grocery store, which is good (and fairly cheap), but I'd like to make my own. Thanks!


Gravatar Thank you, thank you, thank you! I made homemade pizza for the first time on Monday - I was so excited- it was okay-ish - but we had the crusts left on the plate! I made my own sauce too which again wasn't bad but could have used some work - I'm going to try your dough next time.


Gravatar I hope you guys like it! I think it's the honey that makes the difference. You can also add herbs or dried garlic too for a unique flavour!

Gravatar hi Deborah. Well that's a better pizza than I've seen in a lot of Italian restaurants in Ireland. Looks very authentic, we make our dough the same way in La Cucina without the honey. The amount of salt is the most important part, it gives the dough it's flavour.Our sauce is the same, tomatoes, basil, oregano, garlic, salt and pepper and drop of olive oil. Thumbs up for the buffalo mozzarella, nothing beats it. We cook our pizzas at 380 in La Cucina so at home you can actually cook it at the highest temperature on your oven.
