I would feel over-dressed in that apron and feel as though I needed to have a special meal prepared...other than fried spam and cream corn.
A chef's coat? Would love to have one of those.
And, last but not least, I love that you say "I've taken to..." That is so Southeastern Oklahoma and reminds me of home.

My MIL bought me some very lovely aprons ... they are so beautiful that I didn't have the heart to wear and dirty it. So I kept them in my cupboard and take them out to admire them now and then. Silly isn't it.
