Our eew dish was tuna casserole. Somehow it really did hit the spot. This one sounds like it does the same thing. Thanks for sharing - the story AND the recipe with Presto Pasta Nights.

We had a lot of recipes like this growing up. The classic church cookbooks around here have about 30 versions, several of which are made with cream of something soup. Somehow they are always good when you need a little comfort!

My aunt, a home economics teacher in Jefferson City, MO, gave me this recipe around 35 years ago and told me it came from Miss Hullings in St. Louis. I have passed it on to MANY people throughout the US...including Dallas, TX where i expanded it times ten for a church event!
