The Humble Housewife

Gravatar I love polenta, but no one else in the house does, so I usually only get it when I go out to eat (with two young kids, I'm sure you know how often THAT is!)
I bet you could get some pecorino delivered form somwhere, you're resourceful!

Gravatar Big mistake visiting your blog right before dinner time - I'm starving and now all I want is that bruschetta!

Gravatar Glad you found the polenta!! I have to say I love bruschetta too, it's just so simple and tasty!!

Gravatar In the south (U.S.) our version of polenta would be grits. They can be quite tasty if they are done correctly.

I love your site!

I will be visiting your lovely isle this fall. I may have to get your assistance on what to do and where to eat! LOL.

Gravatar Mmm you make such good food! I want to come live with you!

Gravatar YUM!!!

To answer your question, my husband doesn't like bruschetta. Because he doesn't like tomatoes. At all.

Crazy man.

Gravatar Yummy! I can't believe I've never made Bruschetta before. I'll have to give it a try. We're growing our own tomatoes and basil this year, so it's gotta happen!

Gravatar Lisa - LOL! Eating out? Come again???

Darlene - grits... yum! Wish we could get them here... I loves me some grits with cheese! mmm mmm... hope you enjoy your trip to Ireland, let me know if you ahve any questions!

GoofyGirl - Do you babysit? If so, that could be arranged!

Parker - That sucks! My kids think they don't like tomatoes... apparently ketchup, bolognaise and pizza don't count?

Diane - Sounds wonderful. I am growing basil indoors at the moment but it seems plagued by nasty little white insects. Any ideas?
