Sorry for being a muffin pusher but your homeland is in some way responsible! These look lovely and more virtuous than any of my offerings. Don't you love those mornings when you feel the urge to bake and a couple of hours later you smell like sugar and you are surrounded by all those treats. Of course then they need to be eaten!

Virtuous? Is that a good thing in a muffin? LOL! I bought some strawberries just now because I am anxious to try your strawberry muffins, lso want to try the cheese ones! Why does everyone think I'm American??? ARGH! I'm Irish!!!!! The husband is American. Will have to clarify that somewhere! LOL!
