Let's just take a look at this with a little perspective. First, crap oline? Young and inexperienced are better adjectives because they are certainly more talented than anything we have had under Bowden - actually this OL is ridiculously more talented though they are raw. Secondly, Brandon Maye would have beat out Courtney Vincent last year had he not gotten hurt and would have a 100% chance to start every game this year with CV on the team. Also Scotty Cooper is an upgrade over Billie from last year. Conner is more talented athletically than Watkins but not as instinctual. Overall we are more talented at LB but we are very thin. Finally, look at your final comment. 9 wins in a twelve game scedule is one less than just about every prognositicator is predicting inlcuding most Clemson fans. If nine wins is the worst case scenario then our program has improved leaps and bound from the mid-90's.
Won't be happy with a nine win season. Three of those will come against cake teams.
Totally mundane season ahead
The Oline will be fine. Right Gaurd is the only true question mark. Tackles will be fine. Chris Capote wasnt all world and Barry Richardson never reached his potential. Thomas Austin is a future pro. Barry Humphries or mason cloy will hold down LG just fine.
Linebackers will have the hardest task, but Brandon Maye has drawn comparisons to Waters... the last time the coaches talked like that was when they thought Waters would be the leader after Leroy hill.
Watch out for stanley hunter. If you saw him play in high school, you would know that this kid is special. If he was 6 foot 2 he would have been a top 10 LB. But he is 5 foot 11 at best. ton of heart though.

Point is you morons are saying we are going to be so much better, however we have unproven talent in the heart of both sides of the ball. If you are a real college football fan, you should know that preseason predictions are worth nothing. How can we predict anything about our team with unproven o-line, and unproven linebackers? We cant really. I dont care what these kids did in high school, or how they did in practice. Just because you say on here that some players would have taken other players spot, doesnt mean their ability to compete in devision one football is proven. Because your opinion means nothing.
Our schedule this year has got to be the easiest we have EVER had. I imagine if one of our mid 90s teams got to play an easy duke, and two 1aa teams, they would have gotten around 8 wins in the 11 game seasons they had. Especially considering how bad FSU is now, they used to be an automatic loss when they were good.
