Gravatar Man, this is going to be a fun season to watch Tigernet. If we beat Alabama (and even though they sucked last year, that's a big IF) then we're going to cruise through the rest of the season (after all, Summerville High could beat 8 of the teams on our schedule) and surely we'll have a high ranking going into the ACC championship, where we'll lose to either Virginia Tech or Virginia (the first team worth a damn that we've played all year.) The drama is going to be spectacular, and hilarious.

Gravatar Nice obscure Beatles reference.

Gravatar Let's be honest with ourselves, Clemson is highly overated and we all know what happens when they are the favorite to win. With teams like FSU on the up and up your days of being noticed are limited. Yes, you will beat Alabama pat yourself on the back, but the ACC will own you this year. Predictions 7 wins

Gravatar LOL, did you just use the phrase "Let's be honest with ourselves?"

It's one thing to have an opinion about how our season will go, but to present it in such a staggeringly faggoty manner sort of discounts us taking it as anything more than a disgruntled fan of a rival team trying to anonymously vent.

Where would the losses come from in this 7-5 season? I venture to say you are a moron if you think this team will lose 5 games or more with this schedule. At least backup yourself with some details.

Gravatar Five losses seems like a stretch. I could see them lossing to Wake, Fsu, Virginia and South Carolina. If we get caught slipping NC State might beat us and that is a stretch.
Go Tigers!!!

Gravatar Fred, I can see us losing to Bama, Wake, and/or FSU. No way we lose to UVa, we match up perfectly against them, barring injuries. All of this is not considering injuries, actually. Lose a few OL or LBs and we're screwed. The Sakerlina game is always hard to predict this early, I could see us losing that one but I highly doubt it.

Gravatar Impersonating me gets you banned Tejay. Go back to your shitty gov't job and leave the internets to the big boys.

Gravatar I agree that the FSU/Wake killers could come a callin. As for the UVA and USC calls for defeat, I don't see it. Yes, UVA is in the land of home field advantage according to a fellow gnomes supercomputer and speculators are saying that game will be the decider for if Clemson does or does not go to the championship but I don't see it. And USC, well I hope that the Tigers take em out Derrick Hamilton style and once again embarrass Stevie boy and his chickens. Soon enough, USC will earn the name "Coaches Graveyard" for pleasantly providing such spectacular ends to careers of such previously highly regarded coaches.

Gravatar VOTE FOR CLEMSON!

Gravatar Funny no one is talking about Boston College as a potential upset loss. I can see it.

Gravatar CUTIDV,

Certainly BC could be an upset, especially if there's some snow up in Chestnut Hill.

Gravatar Question: Doesn't Spurrier usually throw a vote Duke's way as a reward for giving him his first job? I didn't see any Duke vote this year.

Gravatar Josh, Spurrier didn't this year because the exec director of the American Football Coaches Association asked him to cease doing it for the sake of the integrity of the poll.
