In Japan they call it sushi. In South Carolina (where I'm from) they call it bait . Maybe Lucky didn't fancy the idea of winding up at the end of a reel of test line--or on a plate.

There's no accounting for some species. I know a stuffed puffin who gets very offended at the idea of Easter eggs. I don't get what his problem is either.

Funny and creepy, very much reminiscient of the 50's hygiene films over at B-Movie Catechist.

I should have taken Lucky to Vegas with me...she would have had a blast and returned in much better spirits... especially after some great retail therapy.. The Forum at Caesar's Palace has alot of great shops...they even had a HUGE statue of Michaeangelo's David....a little out of place considering it is supposed to be based on ancient Rome...a very good copy if I can say so myself..
So next time I go to Vegas I'll let you know.. she can stay in my room...we just need to have your credit card.. (plus a couple of extra suitcases for all the treasures..

Sara-glad you're back! I've heard that the HUGE David isn't an exact copy of the original, but has been reproportioned so some bits are more huge than others...can you (discretely, of course) confirm this? Or is that just urban myth?

Xena--
What I was told was that the HUGE David--located inside in the shopping area called Appian Way-- is an exact copy of the original statue.. The copy of David outside by the entrance is proportioned slightly differently so that it "fits in" with the rest of the other statues..
I have not had the pleasure of viewing the original David so I cannot give you an educated opinion. As far as the giant David(I think he's about 3x life-size), well, everything seemed to be proportioned appropriately, based on my somewhat limited personal experienced I did not have my camera with me so I could not take a photo... Other than it being a glorious work of art, I would not consider him porn star material.. IMHO (as I dig my hole deeper and deeper
Hopefully I haven't made too many folks blush But fair warning--Caesar's Palace has LOTS of naked statues Inside and outside Be forewarned if you want to visit..
