Hey! Guess who's back from his cyber sabbattical! 
I made a promise for Lent to stay off the internet for 40 days, and like the liar that I usually am, I soon discovered that I needed the Internet for homework purposes. I have no excuse, I hope to God that I can fulfill my promises next year.
I know it's pretentious to burst in here and act like the big boy on campus and disrupt the conversation, when some of you may have forgotten me, but we have time to get re-aquainted
While our esteemed blogger swore off fiction for 40 days, I, ironically, decided to become an expert in modern fantasy fiction! What this means is that I will endeavor to read all the big names in the fantasy genre, from Macdonald and Lord Dunsany to modern masters like George RR Martin, Gene Wolfe, and Tim Powers.
On a final, long-winded, rambling note, I have decided to re-read the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan aka John Oliver Rigney Jr., who was a devout Episcoplian, died of a rare blood desease about five months ago before completing the last book in his famous series, called "A Memory of Light". He also made me fall in love with VLFNs that just keep going on and on, like me
