The Sci Fi Catholic Yak Module

Gravatar I think Che' may have inadvertently set off the first big Catholic geek crossover event. Who else can we drag in?

Gravatar I'd say Speculative Catholic, but his blog appears to be finally and thoroughly dead. Happy Catholic might be interested, and we should get Keith Strohm of From the Shattered Drum and Peter at With a Grain of Salt to contribute.

Gravatar Ummm, wouldn't Heinlein have had a gun?

Gravatar Wouldn't Heinlein be the head villain? I mean, dude. He's bald AND he has a mustache.

Besides the guns and swords and canes and stuff.

Gravatar Genius!

I'm adding you to my RSS feeds ASAP!

Gravatar Hey, I think you all missed the point of Ché's play. It was about the oppression of people by the forces of the heirarchy. It wasn't about science fiction authors at all. I love Ray Bradbury, by the way.

Anyway, I think you are all having an unwholesome influence on Ché, and I am considering sending him on a retreat in Minnesota unless he stops frequenting your 'blogs.

Peace out!

Gravatar "It was about the oppression of people by the forces of the heirarchy."

No, it's about the tragic failure of Western socioeconomic metaprinciples to conform to the needs of the earth organism and its various biosystems and the inherent tendencies of humankind towards post-modern co-operation when uninhibited by cultural memes designed to preserve...okay, yes, it's about oppression by hierarchy.

But I use longer words, proving my greater wisdom.

Histor

Gravatar I should have memed Histor. He'd have a blast with this.
