Considering the source material, I wouldn't be surprised if this movie turns out to be a dog. Even as a kid I thought the animated cartoon was wretched--crude animation, ridiculous plots, dreadful overdubbing. Just so you know what you're getting yourself into, Deej.

In the previews, it looks like a CGI pinball machine, and it clocks in at over two hours long. A hundred and thirty minutes of Speed Racer? Really? And CGI action sequences usually underwhelm me.
