Anxiously awaiting your comments. I'm going to see it soon, but the one important question: How does it compare to the first Indy--clearly the best of the lot? Is it just a nostalgic romp or does it break new ground?

A good question. Lucky and I will remember to discuss that.

Although personally, I prefer the second of the original trilogy for reasons I'll explain another time, and I think Lucky's favorite is the third, mostly because of Sean Connery.

I may have a warped and twisted outlook, but this is how I see things...

Movies, novels, bands, comic books, etc, mainly ANYTHING that will have a series or sequel.... are like boyfriends (or husbands, or plug in appropriate gender)..

It's really NOT FAIR to compare the current ones to the previous ones...each should stand on its own merits.. and especially in movies, where the technology has exploded by leaps and bounds..

I'll still have a grand ol time..besides Indy and I have a BUNCH to get caught up on...geez 19 years, (seems so much longer) and he never calls, never writes....

No spoilers Deej..I'm seeing the movie on Monday...along with probably a bazillion kids... :/
