Read the books and have seen the trailers. I will see the movie even though it won't be as good as the book.

Growing up, I saw the movie (70s version?)...But I actually have never read them! They seem to be one of those things on my should-do list that I never get around to. The new movie has given me some good incentive though and we we plan on reading the first couple Narnia books before it comes out.

Saw the trailer last Friday. I just held on to Mr. MG's arm and cried. It's not just that it was a great teaser - it's that the movie looks like it really will be true to the book and not wipe off the allegory like so much pond muck. (The producer is a Christian whose mission in life is to put out movies that are not on Hollywood's agenda.) I wept for Aslan, but also for the hope of it being a wonderful movie. I can't wait until Dec. 9.
