Convicted in my own sorry heart, I had to leave your post to online order a library book missing since October my 4 year old has lost. I bought it, because sometimes, if you go to all that trouble, the librarians don't make you pay the huge recirculation fee AND the book's price. The worst books I've had to pay for were _Arthur's New Baby_ and _Clifford the Big Red Dog_ on tape. Those are the kind of books I am glad are available at the library, so I don't have to buy them. But alas, we own them now after finding them months after replacing them to the library. Why, oh, why do they keep letting us check out books with such a bad track record? |
