So, how do you really feel, Doc?

Yes, some things get to me, too.

Conjecture based on the materialist presumption is publishible. It is inside the scientific mainstream.

Anything conjectural that denies the materialist presumption is outside of the scientific mainstream.

"But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God; for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned." (1 Cor. 2:14) For me, personally, I had to begin at the cross and work backward to Genesis. The intellectual crisis of materialism (no meaning, no purpose, no love) was discomforting, but I manfully plowed on with it. But when it became explicitly a spirtual crisis, no more thoughts to think, something had to be acted on, God, in His mercy, caused me to cry to Him, and He answered in the person of Jesus. Then all the pieces began to fall into place.
