(1 Cor. 2:14) For me, personally, I had to begin at the cross and work backward to Genesis. The intellectual crisis of materialism (no meaning, no purpose, no love) was discomforting, but I manfully plowed on with it. But when it became explicitly a spirtual crisis, no more thoughts to think, something had to be acted on, God, in His mercy, caused me to cry to Him, and He answered in the person of Jesus. Then all the pieces began to fall into place.
