Dear Mr. Heddle, Regarding Calvinism:2Pet.3:9 -the Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is patient (looongsuffering) to us-ward,NOT willing that ANY should perish, but that ALL should come to repentance.

ITim.2:4 who will have ALL men to be saved, and to come to the knowledge of truth.
Only works of response (believing, receiving, calling etc.) bring salvation, not works of merit. Rom.6:23"...but the gift of God is eternal life."

Another rule God has in place is the rule of decay. Everything decays constantly. There are no exceptions to this rule. Decay means becoming less complex. Hence evolution which requires substances to become more complex will never occur.

I am enjoying your lessons. Thank-you for putting them on line.
Respectfully ,Aggie Bojczuk

Sadly, Those who protest the lable are harming science in the name of science and most likely out of fear of "religion". If students accept evolution as "written in stone" they will not as readily question established understanding; and science is advanced only by questioning understandings.

Instead of a lable, the statement should be a chapter honestly teaching what science is and what it isn't. If that were done well, there would be less confusion in the minds of those who think the lable is an attack on their world-view.
