That was so funny!

The kid probably picked up the phrase from some TV ad.

Act now! Offer ends soon!

That's right. Sin that provides a short term immediate feel good response is very tempting - a once in a lifetime opportunity...but wait, there's more...

GCT,
Evolution should be held to the same standard as any other part of science. I haven't seen a real time experiment that demonstrates the evolution of an irreducibly complex machine. If the molecular mechanism of evolution works, then it should be demonstrated in an experiment. That is the standard that other fields of science (especially molecular biology) must meet. Evolution postulates a mechanism for how IC arises, so show it in an experiment. It may be a difficult standard to meet, but if you are going to prove evolution true and put ID to rest, then show me the proof in an experiment. That is the goalpost. I didn't set the goalpost or move the goalpost. Your examples of real time evolution of IC don't reach that goalpost. You can rightly say that ID also does not reach the goalpost, but doing so doesn't change the score for evolution.

So, John, why do you reject the observations and "proofs" that stand now?

Oops. Last two comments in the wrong thread, I suspect.
