Here's my result:

You fit in with:
Agnosticism

Your ideals mostly resemble those of an Agnostic. You are fairly ambivalent towards any religion or spiritual connection. You lead a very busy life and find that religion and spirituality are unnecessary to your life.

40% scientific.
20% reason-oriented.

Good thing God's gracious gift of faith isn't a consequence of my ability know or find evidence of God.

Cheers,

Shaggy

Wow, who ever wrote up this quiz has no idea what Scientology really is.

Imagine my surprise to find out I closely resemble Bhuddists. I wonder what it takes to score an identification with Judasim/Christiainty?

"Your ideals mostly resemble those of the Buddhist faith. Spirituality is the most important thing in your life. You strive to live by all of your ideals, and live a very intellectually focused life."

Ah, after taking the quiz several times, providing different answers each time, I now see what it takes to score a high identification with Judaism/Christianity. You must be gullible and believe in the Easter bunny (until fairly recently anyway), you must intend to recant on your deathbed, you are rigid and unthinking and you are not creative. Oh, and you are slothful. Well sure, now it all makes sense. What a perfect caricature. Oh well, what should we expect from a quiz that supposedly determines religious identification but does not differentiate between Judaism and Christianity?

Thanks, David. Very entertaining. Can you introduce me to Tom Cruise?

Sal,

Sure, if you'll get me an audience with the Dali Lama.

David, consider it done - I presume a spiritual meeting with the Lama will suffice? And really, I could be satisfied with a non-physical meeting with Tom, as well.

I got scientology, too, even though I am a reformed Christian, so don't feel too bad, David.

Actually, I kinda wonder if it wasn't written by a scientologist. I suspect there aren't only a few people who are seekers who share similar outlooks to David and I who they may be trying to pull in. Certainly, sal's research suggests some rather insulting views of Christianity (what denomination, specifically, teaches that the Easter bunny is real?). Hm...

I'm sorry but that quize is L-A-M-E. I got scientology too, just because I'm more logical that artsy. I wish I was more artsy, doesn't that count?

Clearly this test was written by a person with both a predjudice against, and a misunderstanding of Christianity.

I tracked Buddhism, bordering on Taoist!
(40% spiritual, 20% faith-oriented)

Which bugs me because I find both systems too self-centered and very week from a legal/historic perspective.

Whatta buncha crud!

This quiz was designed by someone incredibly naive about religions...

I got Buddhist as well. The etst is deeply flawed. I makes me want to write a more balanced one, but, really, who can be bothered.

A humanist friend got Humanist, so it's pretty clearly biased...

0% scientific, 0% faith oriented. That despite being a Christian and a physicist. I guess I just can't commit.

I am a Christian (with what I thought were strong young-earth creationist/fundamentalist leanings).
This quiz considers me an agnostic bordering on humanist.
"Your ideals mostly resemble those of an Agnostic. You are fairly ambivalent towards any religion or spiritual connection. You lead a very busy life and find that religion and spirituality are unnecessary to your life."
Well, I do agree with the 'busy life' part.

I came out Buddhist--twice, even though I am firmly Christian. There is something wrong with this test.

I came out as a Buddist... hmm

I came out 20% scientific, and 40% faith-oriented - Scientology! No Way! This thing is rigged like the rest of the quizzes on the Internet.

I come from a Mennonite heritage and consider myself mostly traditional. Interesting label of Taosim but the description is accurate.

Taoism

Your ideals mostly resemble those of the Taoist faith. Spirituality is the most important thing in your life. You strive to live by all of your ideals, and live a very intellectually focused life.

50% spiritual.
0% reason-oriented.
