If you are not going to the track, get where you are going well before the race, or wait until it starts. Traffic will be fierce because this sport is popular! We have a track here in Fort Worth, Texas, where the West begins, and it is of course, MUCH BIGGER, than the one in Tennessee. And in true Fort Worth style, it was built with no forethought of its affect on anything, so it backs up traffic in every direction for miles and miles, often delaying unsuspecting travelers for two hours or more on I-35.
