Cool!

He is simply the best !!!

Nice stuff. :-]

Cheers ya'll, you've inspired me to post some more.

The Howlin' Wolf record you speak of is one of my favorite "blues?" recordings from that period. If you want to further freak your bean, check our Mama Lion's debut - featuring none other than Penthouse Pet and Carrie Nations singer Lynn Carrie!

Idem, one of my favourite blues records
I especially like the drumming, which on many blues records is not quite interesting

This record is the pride of my collection!

Man! This is awesome! I love Wolf--why is it that I have never heard of this album?

Anyway, Thanks!
Great blog, btw!

I have had a vinyl copy of this album since the late '70's. Anyone have an idea if it is available on disc/mp3?

Thank you.

Hey mb, I don't think it's been released on CD yet but surely it's only a matter of time.

A Dam DJ, thanks, I hope so.

I no longer have my vinyl copy and the station where I am a volunteer DJ, kglt.net, the copy is suddenly missing. Does anyone have a copy of this album?

"This Is Howlin' Wolf's New Album" is the very first LP I purchased in my life. A friend of mine's brother was home from college and played it for me. I had never heard anything like it.
I had to have my own copy.
It is one of my all time favorite albums and I would love to get it on CD.
It is definitely one of my all time favorite album covers.
Any info on CD release would be appreciated.
