Great work on the Fela post. I've got quite a few of his albums that I enjoy from time to time. I don't think I've heard JJD so I'll give it a listen. As always, thanks for the share.

I've also been stuck in afrobeat and fela (of course) for a couple years now ... have you heard his son Seun Kuti ? he plays with Egypt 80 (!) and his first album "Many Things" is quite excellent, and the shows are amazing (seen them 4 times).
