I was watching TV the other day, and they said that global warming was really proven. They're not allowed to lie on TV!
It is only dead until they resurect it next year. Leftist issues never die. They only become settled law when it is settled the way the left wants it. Just like socialized medicine was dead and Keyesian economics was dead. And how many courts have to rule against homosexual marriage for that to become a dead issue? Won't happen. It only takes one judge to make it settled law the other way.
You know what they say... every people gets the government that they deserve...
and may very well spell death to that movement.
Nah, they'll just try again. and again. and again, till they get it, then they'll be off on their next crusade.
Here, we have a short time pretend mayor (our elected mayor is now a Senator after a bogus court case smeared an honorable man who should still be a Senator) who's running through all the legislation that the left can muster. The big bill is a Gay Rights Protection Act that has failed a number of times and will fail again (due to a large majority opposition and the ability for us to filibuster it (and due to some idiot militant gays who don't understand the process and are filibustering it too)) but it'll be back, again, and again, till it passes.
The only way that Global Warming can no longer be an issue is if another Great Cause takes its place.
The Left is relentless in its immoral stupidity. Not knowing God nor seeking to please Him, they seek their own glory by trying to enforce what they believe to be righteous on others, regardless of the consequences.
Not unlike a dimwitted child who figures he'll be able to fly if only he can tie a big enough towel around his neck and use it as a cape. At first it's cute and kinda funny, but then it gets serious once he climbs on the roof. And leaps off, screaming "Look at me!!!"
Hey, did you see the article at WND about Al Gore saying that the global warming hoax is going to result in more global governance. Seems to me that's the goal. Create a crisis and use it to seize more power over the rest of us.
