Holy Family Now!

Gravatar Hi Michael John,

This is Charlotte Marie's granddaughter. Not sure if you remember me but I was thinking of you and wanted to drop you a line and say hello. I'm glad I was able to find your blog and see what you have been up to. Much love and prayers, Kylie

p.s. I just read your blog about Therese's baking adventure - she is super cute!

Gravatar Michael John,
We are praying for you here in Southern Arizona, and there will be a Mass said for your health and well-being at St. Thomas the Apostle on Friday, June 8th.
We're with ya, buddy!

Eileen and Elizabeth

Gravatar We have had the honor to hear you in concert several times in the Portland, Oregon area and have been deeply touched by your music and ministry.

Here are a couple of favorite scriptures on suffering:

Rom 8:17-18 "Since we are His children, we will share His treasures -- for all God gives to His Son Jesus is now ours, too. But if we are to share in His glory, we must also share in His suffering."

1 Peter 4:12-13,19: "Don't be bewildered or surprised when you go through the fiery trials ahead, for this is no strange, unusual thing that is going to happen to you. Instead, be really glad -- because these trials will make you partners with Christ in His sufferings, and afterwards you will have the wonderful joy of sharing His glory in that coming day when it will be displayed."

An Offering of Suffering (author unknown)
O my Lord Jesus Christ, I lift up my heart to You in my suffering and ask for Your comforting help. I know that You would withhold the thorns of this life if I could attain eternal life without them. And so I commend myself to Your loving mercy, accepting this suffering in Your Most Holy Name. Grant me the grace to bear it and to offer it in union with Your sufferings. Regardless of the suffering that may come my way, let me trust You always, for You are my Lord, my God and my All! Amen.

You are in our prayers and on many prayer alerts in our area. God is Good!

Gravatar Michael John you and your family are in my prayers. Let me know if there's anything I can do to help!
Blessings!

Mollie

Gravatar Michael,

We are all praying for Jesus to send you the Holy Spirit to heal you so that you can go on fulfilling GOD's mission. GOD Bless you and the family as you travel this 'different road' together.

Mike

Gravatar Be assured you and your family are in my prayers. May God place his healing hand upon you so you may continue to give him Glory and honor.

Gravatar I saw this via Amy.

My husband was diagnosed with malignant melanoma last May. He is cancer free, praise God! There is hope. One day at a time!

Gravatar Our family has been praying daily for you and your family. If there is anything that Kathy and I can do, please give us a call. Thought about you all weekend at Yost Lake. I have informed everyone at Grace and Good Shepherd Hospice and everyone else I could think of to let them know. Take care and may His will be done.
