Holy Family Now!

You have to admit that there is something to irony. The Bible is full of irony. For example, Jesus instructs the woman at the well in John 4:16 to "Go call you husband and come back," to which she replies, "I do not have a husband." She thinks that she has out-smarted Jesus through her own ways (similar to a psychic.) Jesus replies, "You are right in saying 'I do not have a husband.' For you have had five husbands, and the one you have now is not your husband." Jesus knew her situation to begin with, but still He posses the question. The questions we must ask are: Are we honest with ourselves? Are we we honest before God? Do we trust in His providence, or our own understanding and self-reliance? Let's pray for these "psychics" and all who seek their services that they might come to know God in a very intimate way. - You have to admit though that it is kinda odd that psychics ask for credit card numbers... something to think about.

Two comments: First to Dottie: I had a great time in Woodward and I DO look forward to a return visit some time in the not too distant future.

Second to "Anoymous" - I am sorry if I have offended you. I agree with you that we should not make fun of people who have lost everything. I repent - pray for me to keep learning and letting my heart be changed.

As far as not judging others... Actually you and I judge more than might think. I would HOPE you would judge if a person is safe to be near your children - I do. Maybe not so good when we judge that someone is not being Christian. The word I prefer is 'condemn'. We should not condemn.

Thank you for bringing this lack of charity to my attention. I'll stop joking about the 'physic-not-knowing-the-house-was-going-to-burn' subject at concerts, too.

You should not make fun of people that have lost everything. That is not being Christian. Do not judge others.

Gravatar Thank you so much for stopping along your way in Woodward. Your family is a delight and your Sun. evening adoration was such a blessing. We feel very blessed that you stopped for a visit here and hope that you return in the near future.

May God continue to bless you, your family and your ministry.

The Peace of our Lord,
Dottie Theriault
