Interestingly, you never mention numbers. That's clearly because there are so few black conservatives it's hard to count them. Also because there is no evidence their numbers are growing. On the contrary, blacks are voting in even greater numbers for Democratic candidates. All you have to do is see where the GOP is heading to understand why.

a third party would be the best thing that could ever happen for conservatives. its the only thing that will force a change in direction of both the Republicans and the democrats.
Exceller -- if you want to destroy America by splitting the vote and handing elections to the Obama Democrats -- well... a third party will work for that.

There hasn't been a successful third party run since Lincoln. That's 1860.

Dave: more interesting than your analysis are all the things democrats have done for the African American:
The democrats fought a civil war to retain the right to hold slaves. Lincoln was a Republican.
The democrats fought a Constitutional amedment that would allow Blacks to vote as more than 3/5 of a person.
The democrats created and fiercely defended Jim Crow laws that effectively prevented blacks from voting in the South.
The democrats invented and fiercely defended "separate but equal" schooling for black children.
However, perhaps you can enlighten us on what democrats have actually done to deserve the loyalty you claim? I'll get the popcorn.

Conservatives need a third party. The GOP is too corrupt to reform. Its been infected with the DC disease and there is no cure for that.
