This is an excellent post. It sums up alot of my moral problems with much of the British left.
Unsuprisingly I agree that Galloway just harms us. He has the kind of anti-war position that the pro-war people would absolutely love us all to have, as its so obviously morally bankrupt. Bush claims we're either with him or with the Baathists - Galloway provides a very useful piece of ammunition to support this claim. Greg Palast summed it up quite well recently; Galloway is a convenient punch bag for the pro-war people out there. He can sometimes punch back prett hard, but that doesn't mean he is any more useful to us as a spokesman of the movement.
