I think the reasons for Halima Academy staying open the teen mothers who it is too late for them to go anywhere else is a true statement, but there are issues within the school that need to be looked at.For instance the school dose provide free child daycare but it is not a very good daycare for that matter.Mrs. Lacy is a fine worker I do trust her with my child but as for the infants room they don't know if they are coming or going.I have taken my child out of that center because of the poor care that they have provided. They seem to forget the fact that they are dealing with human beings. Its not just a job. I have asked how are these young babies learning. They do not practice tummy time or one on one with the babies most every time that I have gone in the center they let babies cry all the time they set the babies in walkers and put them on lock so they can't move. I mean what kind of center is that. Then the excuse that they always use is oh They are spoiled so its okay. When thats not it at all.Mothers in the school have asked and written down on paper for certain things to be done with their child like staying on a certain schedule and the center did't even try. For instance my daughter was in the center for eight hours a day and the only things they did was put her in the swings which don't ever turn on they don't even have batteries and put her in a locked walker and try to give her a bottle every time she cried to try and get her to sleep.I had even told them that my pediatrician said only 3 bottles a day and the center ignored that. So if any concerns were done about the school they should look at the baby centers. I am not the only mother who has taken my child out of that center because of the lack of care. I understand that every child day care has its horror stories but this is no horror story this is real and you can ask plenty of other mothers in the center also.Just make sure they are not related to the staff because their babies are top priority and they usually don't have any complaints.
