I realize the limitations of some of the comparisons; screw music will always exist, but the nation, as a whole, is mostly embracing it as a novelty ("listen to how SLOW they rap," as opposed to the brief fascination MTV and the like had with Twista). Likewise, Texas A&M is a mainstay, but I don't see them fulfilling the hype this year. I see a lot of Brad Smith/Gary Pinkel in Reggie McNeal/Dennis Franchione.
well A&M not being allowed on tv for a number of years made them some region shit. The Wrecking Crew was kind of like SUC in some ways. A&M hardley ever fills the hype. The most they ever really do is go to the worthless ass cotton bowl.
the UT one was funny too, probably could have gotten a better pick than fat joe but whatever. I went to that school for a minute. Before I drank myself out of it and transfered to Blackalicious/ASU.
hey, i really slept on this, but s'funny shit! i went to aTm and relocated to houston, and i agree, stings a bit, but only cuz it's, like, true (about houston rap...i don't give a shit about the football team).
