I've had the good fortune of being able to bump Cymande for a couple weeks now- on the advice of DjMaru- and I have to say it's been some of the best music I've heard in a long time. So many funky cuts on there, and such a variety of grooves. If you have to get one of them, get the best of album, since it's got a nice range of their songs. If you're looking for a more folky sounding track than the two he's got posted- check out Pon De Dungle, which has been one of my favorites so far.

Wow, it's like you've raided my last mp3 cd, and I just burned that one like 5 days ago! We're definitely on the same page music-wise. Only thing though, I'm not sure but I think the band's name is Afreaka! and the disc is called "Demon Fuzz", not the other way around... but then again, I may be wrong. It's always hard to tell with that stuff.

I think 25th Hour has "Dove" in there too... kinda funny that for that whole part when they're in the trendy "underground" house club, all of the music is Cymande.
