Heart of The Congos is simply brilliant and arguably the best of The Congos offerings BUT they put out alot of other really great stuff. I think Swinging Bridge is sublime and its 2006 release date is testament to the longevity of The Congos. Cedric "Congo" Mytons Inna De Yard (a bit like the old MTV unplugged series) is a slice of paradise and a look on You Tube for videos of the recording sessions is well worth a look as well.

If you like The Congos (and who wouldn't!) try Israel Vibration. The harmonies are beautifully balanced and they have a strictly conscious sound. Again, they have put out alot of material and most if not all of it is well worth owning by 'Strength of My Life' is my personal favorite and will please any fan of 'Heat of The Congo'
