Neneh Cherry...what's not to love? I love all of Neneh Cherry's stuff. You call the later stuff "safer", I might call it "sophisticated". Whereas the belated Woman disc might be a bit low-key, you gotta love her version of Marvin's "Trouble Man". I am always waiting for more music from her, but, at the same time, I secretly love how almost perfect her small output has been and wonder if I want that ruined?

Her duet with Youssou N'Dour 'Seven Seconds' was some classic good Euro radio ballad type stuff... and like the debut still stands as a wicked song

Yeah I can see your argument. No diss was intended on Neneh, I was just always a bit disappointed that she didn't take the attitude of Raw Like Sushi a bit further and give us at least one more upbeat dancefloor orientated album.

You know, I always felt that one of the best foloow-ups to Neneh's debut, as far as attitude, was Imani Coppola's disc. What do ya think?
