I've been feelin' the album for a minute. Nice post.
(And btw, nice job with the legal disclaimer. Trust me.)

yo,
that voice hook is a sample of the song "You Never Come Closer", by legendary Swedish funk/soul songstress Doris

a lot of people hate on Madlib for whatever reason, but i think dude is super gifted. maybe he does stretch himself a little too thin, but most all of his music is pretty impressive, and every now and then he'll drop bombs like this upcomming Quas.

madLib is wierd. i always find it bizarre when I can literally be in tune with tons of intelligent music fans and appreciate all kinds of talent, and feel totally ambivalent about one of music's most respected gems. The second half of Lord Quas is pretty good, not that I listened to it more than twice when I got it two weeks ago. For some reason, I always feel like I have to force myself to listen to any Lib and not want to turn on something else. Although, super old Lootpack does do it for me. Why must your stylez be so elusive to me, Quas?

Yeah I've always had a fondness for Madlib - think his output is of a pretty high quality considering how prolific it is.
Personally looking forward to hearing if he's going to progress his style on the new album.
