wow. what a find. the first one reminds me of "A La Menthe" by NikkFurie, a track that was cut from the Ocean's 12 Soundtrack. It was the score to the laser-dance scene that fucking soundtrackers were fiending for.

speaking of ocean's 12, david holmes is seriously on some next level shit. out of sight, ocean's 11, and ocean's 12 have to be some of the best contemporary soundtracks around.

Yes to hear the Ocean's 12 soundtrack but thought the Ocean's 11 one was some top quality stuff.
Been interested to see his development from a dance music producer in the nineties into a score writer.
More and more producers seem to be going back to using live instruments in tracks.

i felt that the music for Ocean's 11 was far better than for 12. At least soundtrack-wise (there were so many songs in the film that didn't land on the sequel's official soundtrack). All in all, though, I felt Holmes had a consistent, yet expansive style and selections for 11. And each track could stand alone (in term of overall excitement it sparked in me) had I just found it online. I can't say the same for most of the tracks on 12.
