This doesn't really have anything to do with the video, but I think it's kind of uncanny how similar "Rappcats" is to Edan's "Fumbling Over Words That Rhyme." They're both laundry lists of past greats, obviously, but even musically, the breaks and the chorus vocal samples sound a lot alike. I'm not saying either of them was biting, they just must have been on the same wavelength.

I'm glad someone else is diggin the new Quas shit. Lately I've noticed that critics have been tearing it apart (overanalysis perhaps)---whereas before it came out, some said it could be the best hip hop record of the year. I don't even try to enumerate favorite songs or albums...mostly it just depends on my mood. But I definitely think this shit is ill.
