Yeah as maru says, The Meters really have been blogged to death. Not really anything left to say or post about them that hasn't already been covered.

However still got a few more obscure tracks from their time as a backing band that I may post up in the future.

I remember first hearing this killin' riff on Greyboy's "Singles Party" off of Freestylin'. Had me doin' research for days trying to figure out the ROOT. I definitely prefer this original, nice funkin' work.
