Can you elaborate? I definitely thought he was saying "Rick Rude" at the beginning too, but just about everything I read online (internet serches, asking messageboards) or hear from anyone gives the impression that it's Rick Rubin. I'd be into having a definitive answer, though, so holler if you've got one.

the neptunes just need to produce the whole album. rick rubin (if it is him) didn't do anything amazing with this one. A full Neptunes-production album is pretty fool-proof.

i just caught the Southern Bug last week. I haven't watched MTV in months. I didn't realize how much The South has taken over. i mean, i read the blog-hype, but now I see the corporate rotation to prove it. It's kind of surreal.

When I spoke with Slim a few months back before the leak he didn't say anything about working with Rick Rubin, which would have been kind of a coup for a rapper nowadays, especially a relatively uknown to masses rapper. Agreed?
