Well, the Dust Bros. produced Paul's Boutique as well as Odelay, right? So it would kinda make sense that they would return to mine samples from the same record...
One of my all time faves. So nice to see it get some credit. I buy a copy every time i find it and pass one onto a friend.
Yeah both albums are pretty tight. Am tempted to post up some tracks off their second album sometime in the future.......

I admit that the cover art for "Rasputin Stash-The Devil Made Me Do It" is what made me interested in the group. At the time I came across it about 5-6 years ago, There were not many copies floating around on the internet. I had to order mine from Germany used but in new condition.30 seconds of the first track was all that I needed...After the listening to the entire album, I was hooked. This prompted me to dig deeper only to find that their only other release, 1971's "Rasputin'(s) Stash on Cotillion was never released on cd. I have however been lucky enough to find two cuts on various compilation discs which are "Your Love Is Certified" & "Mr. Cool". Great stuff for the true funkhead like myself that I cannot recommend enough. If you haven't heard, Dig on em!
I bought this joint 2day on vinyl....4 $17.99! Man....that's all I can say, the quality and the price? C'mon...I'm feeling 'U better Think', the kick off on side 2. T whole joint is banging though! Out
