It's always sad to find out how often hip hop beats are ripped off wholesale -- I mean "sampled" a la Puff Daddy. I mean, "I Ain't The One" isn't even a really a beat, it's basically just Ice Cube rapping over "The Message." Disappointing.

The first lp to brass construction is wonderfull. It was réedited in france 2 years ago in a wonderfull series of classic funk reissue who was called master of funk and soul.
