Just curious, how does this album rank compared with "Evolution" or "Electric Coffey"?

hair and thangs is by far coffey's best album. whereas the other two you mentioned have a few choice cuts, hair and thangs is consistently funky, gritty, and dope. it's not easy to find in the original though so you might just want to get a reish.

This album is a full album listening experience. Good from beginning to end. some seriously hard funk. Fellin' it. i hink my copy might be a bootleg or a repress. Hear of any?

Hey taza.one, yeah it was reissued reasonably recently - quite a nice pressing in my opinion as well. God bless the reissuers as, as Maru states, it's definitely his best album but also the hardest to get hold of.
