Man I was kicking it to YZ waaaaaaay back in the day. I always hated Puffy for using basically same track YZ did with "In Control Of Things" with Lil Kim...well truth be told, I hate puffy for a lot of different reasons but that's another story.
When that Kim track came out all these cats never believed me that YZ did the beat first... As Monie Love would say, It's a Shame....
Great post.

his 'full' name is/was YZ.G.Rock... the only track i heard this cat on was Professor X's 'Close The Crackhouse', one of the most insane posse records ever, with PE, Big Daddy Kane, Digital Undeground, the Poor Righteous Teachers, and a bunch of others......
anyway, thanks for the hook up!!

Hey es-won, have never heard that Professor X track before. What a line up.
nesta, I've seen odds and soda about Yz's eps but was never sure if they had many new tracks beyond instrumentals from this album?

Word, thank you!
YZ never did and probably never will get his due. On an either, totally unrelated or completely related note: let's have another O.C. post.
Am I the only one that's geeked about YZ listing Steely Dan as a myspace influence?
